NJ CLARK — Planning Board authorizes redevelopment study for four Westfield Avenue properties. Chairman Kevin Koch led a unanimous 8-0 vote (2 absent) on May 7 to authorize a preliminary investigation of Block 77, Lots 6, 7, 8, and 9 to determine if the properties qualify for non-condemnation redevelopment. A single owner holds all four parcels but has no formal development plan submitted.
The board will hold a public hearing on the completed study next month, and separately directed the Township Planner to compile an analysis of affordable housing applications and variances to assess zoning ordinances.
